An amazing day of events saw the crowds descend on Cong to celebrate Irish Food and particularly Irish hill lamb. Don’t forget that the fun resumes today (Sunday). Look forward to seeing you all….
The Cong Food Festival is pleased to welcome the Alpacas of Curraghduff Farm to the Festival on Sunday. Come along and meet them and the other animals that will be around during the weekend including ducks, sheep, horses and donkeys (and a few wild chefs!)
With only 24 hours to go to the start of this years Cong Food Festival things are starting to take shape in the grounds of Cong Abbey. In addition to the many activities and workshops taking place in the Main Marquee there are lots of exhibitors including: Crepe Emporium Killary Fjord Shellfish Dooncastle Oysters Handsome
Puddleducks Cafe was the venue for the press launch of the Cong Food Festival 2019. Eamon O Cuiv TD launched the Festival and welcomed everybody along to the evening. The Zwartbles sheep were in attendance to support the main theme of this years festival which is celebrating Irish hill lamb.
