As part of the Cong Food Village Festival join a FREE guided walking tour of The Quiet Man film locations on Sunday, 12th July at 2pm.
Take a relaxed stroll through Cong village and visit iconic spots from the film, including Inisfree, the famous fight scenes, courting locations, Reverend Playfair’s house, and the Dying Man’s house. Plus, enjoy free entry to The Quiet Man Museum, officially recognised as a Treasure of European Film Culture.
Hear behind-the-scenes stories of when Hollywood came to Cong, discover what the stars were really like, and learn how locals played a part in creating one of Ireland’s most beloved films.
